A photographer from London
Three quiet days shaped around wildlife, landscape and the changing light.
Norfolk & Suffolk, England · Three days

East Anglia rewards patience. Across the Broads, river valleys, marshes and private countryside of Norfolk and Suffolk, the landscape changes quietly with the light. This visit is built around being in the right place at the right time, with space to watch, wait and photograph rather than follow a fixed route.
DAY ONE
Into the evening
Arrive during the afternoon and settle into your accommodation before heading out as the light begins to soften. Depending on the season, the evening might be spent watching deer on private farmland, beside grazing marshes or exploring one of the quieter landscapes of Norfolk or Suffolk.
DAY TWO
First light to last light
Start before sunrise, when the countryside is at its quietest and wildlife most active. After breakfast, the day might take you through the Broads, along the coast or into the wider countryside, with locations chosen around the weather, season and what you hope to photograph. Return to the field for the final hours of light.
DAY THREE
A slower morning
There is no need to fill every hour. Return to a promising location, spend time beside the river or explore somewhere we have discovered during the visit. After lunch, begin the journey home.
